ROC Signed Shipbuilding Contract for 60.5m AHTS
On July
24th 2013, Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co. Ltd
signed shipbuilding contract with a Singapore owner for two 60.5m KCM
designed, DP2, Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel.
The vessel
measures in length of 60.5m, breadth moulded 15.8m and designed draft
5m, with bollard pull 65T and speed 12 knots. The vessel is designed for
anchor handling, towing, cargo carrying, fire fighting and safety
standby capabilities.
Together
with the contract for PX121H PSV in June 2013, this event marks the
success of ROC's effort in becoming a first class, offshore supply
vessel manufacturing facility supplier.
