Recently Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (ROC)received a new order from the Dutch company Royal IHC (IHC) , to build a 4000T self propelled heavy lift vessel for the Luxembourg ship-owner–Normalux Maritime SA.

       The vessel , with the provisional name “Rambiz4000”,  is 108m long, 50.9m wide, and will be equipped with two 2000t cranes, a helideck and DP2 . The moulded depth is 8m, design draft is 4.9m.The vessel is mainly intended to serve the marine heavy lifting and wind farm installation and maintenance in the European market, The vessel isto be classed LR.

        “Rambiz4000” is the first project for the cooperation between IHC and ROC. Both companies will also cooperate on the, engineering and project management.
