At 13:08 o’clock, Oct 28, 2022, the launching ceremony of Hainan Runzhou Shipping “18500DWT Multipurpose Deck Carrier” constructed by ROC was grandly held, which was another milestone after Poly Changda 16000DWT Multi-purpose Deck Barge "Changda Haiping" launching on Sept 25, 2022. ROC fully displayed demeanor of all the way forward and never stop.

Hainan Runzhou General Manager Shi Huadong, CCS Chen Jien and Zhang Hongcun, RHI Chairman Long Yong and President Wu Jian, as well as ROC Executive Director Shi Xiaoyue and General Manager Shao Xiwu etc attended the ceremony.

For the deck carrier, the class is CCS. It’s 40m wide, 9.6m deep and 152.8m long. The weight is 18500 ton. With forecastle, stern type, double diesel engine, double rudder, double propeller propulsion, the hull structure was designed as a deck cargo ship sailing in an unlimited navigation area, which can meet the shipping requirements of offshore wind power equipment, bridge structure and large machinery.

Since the project started this year, under the cooperation of various departments, the production workers always stuck to posts, worked hard, and overcame multiple difficulties such as the outbreak coronovirus and extreme hot weather. Also, the block manufacturing, equipment procurement and erection went smoothly, which guaranteed the success of project milestone.

The successful launching further encouraged the morale and sounded the bugle for ROC to complete the annual delivery target. ROC will continue to adhere to the original intention, maintain the pace of high-quality development, and strictly control the quality, safety and progress of the project, so as to ensure the successful delivery of the project and write the next chapter of ROC with hard work.
