The Fourth SPP40 Platform Supply Vessel of Rainbow Offshore Successfully Held a Steel-cutting Ceremony

Recently, the SPP40 supply vessel N1056 undertaken by Rainbow Offshore successfully held a Steel-cutting ceremony in the workshop. Relevant leaders from the client, the company, and third-party institutions jointly witnessed this important moment. This marks another solid step forward for Rainbow Offshore in the field of high-end offshore engineering vessel manufacturing.

The N1056 is the fourth vessel of the same type built by Rainbow Offshore, representing a further deepening of cooperation between both parties. Previously, Rainbow Offshore started the construction of two SPP40 vessels last year and achieved the milestone of simultaneous launch; in March this year, they strivingly started another one, and the vessels that have started are being built in a tense and orderly manner.

The SPP40 supply vessel, as a new generation of environmentally friendly PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) that meets international market demands, has unique advantages in design and technical applications. It has an overall length of 81.75 meters, a beam of 17.4 meters, a depth of 7.8 meters, a maximum draft of 6.3 meters, a deadweight tonnage of 4,000 tons, and is equipped with a DP2 system and a replaceable containerized power battery system.

From the first vessel that started steel-cutting last year to the fourth one that has smoothly begun construction, it fully demonstrates the customer's high recognition of Rainbow Offshore's construction capabilities and perfect fulfillment of contracts. As various projects progress simultaneously, Rainbow Offshore will continue to tackle difficulties, strive for excellence, adhere to the development philosophy of "pursuing customer satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations," ensure project quality, safety, and progress, and contribute its own strength to promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the marine engineering equipment industry.
