Rainbow Offshore successfully completes the keel-laying ceremony for the KMSB Floating Pontoon project in Australia


Recently, Rainbow Offshore successfully held a keel-laying ceremony for the KMSB Floating Pontoon project built for the Australian TAMS Group. The project leaders gathered, including Tom, the KMSB Group project leader, Simon, the TAMS Group project director, Jason, the product delivery manager, Chris, the site manager, Pan Xinmin, the representative from the DNV classification society, Høgni and Michael from OSK Company, Liu Zhongqiu, the chairman of Rainbow shares, Zuo Chen, the chief financial officer, Shi Xiaoyue, the executive director of Rainbow Offshore, and Shao Xiwu, the general manager of Rainbow Offshore, among other related leaders, to witness this significant moment together.


The KMSB floating pontoon project is an important achievement of the cooperation between Rainbow Offshore and the Australian TAMS Group, and it marks a significant breakthrough in Rainbow Offshore's expansion into the Australian market. The project has an overall length of 165 meters, a molded breadth of 50.4 meters, a molded depth of 6 meters, and a total weight of approximately 9,000 tons. It will be used at the KMSB terminal for berthing large floating production, storage, and offloading ships (FPSO) and ro-ro ships, among other large vessels, and is a vital component of the overall terminal package project.

At the ceremony, Mr. Shao Xiwu, the general manager of Rainbow Offshore, delivered a speech. He stated that KMSB and TAMS Group are important clients for Rainbow Offshore in Australia and expressed gratitude for their support during the construction process. He also assured that Rainbow Offshore would do its utmost to complete delivery on schedule. In his speech, Mr. Chris from the TAMS Group praised the diligent and professional work attitude, quality, and planning control capabilities of the Rainbow Offshore project team. He also looked forward to the improved efficiency of the terminal operations and the promotion of regional economic prosperity following the project's delivery.



The successful keel-laying ceremony marks the project's entry into a new phase, reflecting Rainbow Offshore's professional capabilities and collaborative spirit. Rainbow Offshore will take this opportunity to embark on a new chapter of striving with determination in 2025.
