Rainbow Offshore Successfully Shipped Several Sets of Offshore Wind Power Cages
On the morning of November 8th, several sets of offshore wind power cages built by Rainbow Offshore for China Communications Construction First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. were successfully shipped. Each cage measures 14.34m in length, 12.36m in width, and 23.24m in height, with a weight of 101 tons. This project will be used in the offshore wind power demonstration project in Tianjin Nangang for the Three Gorges Corporation.
The offshore wind power demonstration project in Tianjin Nangang is located in the eastern sea area of the Nangang Industrial Zone in Tianjin. The center of the wind power site is approximately 41.8km offshore, about 28.3km from the east breakwater of the Nangang Industrial Zone, with water depths ranging from 10-12m. The site is approximately 2km long from north to south and 8.3km wide from east to west, with a total area of about 12km2. The planned capacity is 204MW, with 24 units of 8.5MW wind turbines to be installed.
The successful delivery of this project has also sounded the clarion call for Rainbow Offshore's sprint to achieve its annual goals and to fight the "final battle". In the upcoming sprint phase, we will strengthen our sense of responsibility and urgency, seize every favorable opportunity, and ensure that we deliver a satisfactory and brilliant performance.
