ROC Safety Production Month Activities for 2024 Successfully Concluded

June of this year marked the 23rd National "Safety Production Month" and the 14th "Safety Production Month" for ROC. To effectively strengthen production safety and enhance employees' ability to avoid risks in emergencies, ROC organized a series of safety production activities around the theme "Safety for Everyone, Emergency Skills for All—Ensuring the Lifeline is Clear," combining online and offline methods.

Widespread Publicity to Create a Culture of Safety

Leadership attention sets the example. The company held a special meeting to study the safety production theme "Safety Production, Responsibility on Our Shoulders" through an educational warning film, deployed related work for the Safety Production Month, established a firm concept of safe development, and enhanced risk control capabilities.

Safety production, publicity comes first. At the beginning of June, HSE Department launched the "Safety Production Month" kick-off meeting. By setting up publicity boards, hanging banners, posting thematic posters, and scrolling promotional videos on large screens, a positive atmosphere of full participation and attention from all employees was actively created.

Competitive Training to Improve Overall Safety Literacy

Learning through competition, safety in mind. On June 25th,  Department held an "Emergency Safety Knowledge Contest" to further test and reinforce the employees' theoretical level of safety production and knowledge reserves.

Strengthening skills through competition, solidifying the foundation. HSE Department, in conjunction with the Production Support Department, held forklift and ground operation skills competitions. Frontline employees competed together, creating a positive atmosphere of competition, learning, catching up, and surpassing, promoting the proficient mastery of safety skills among employees.

Promoting effectiveness through competition, strengthening awareness. HSE Department advocated for units based on work teams, encouraging employees to share safety experiences during team meetings, proactively discussing safety knowledge, personal hazardous experiences, etc., thereby influencing their colleagues.

Focusing on the Theme, Identifying Accident Risks and Hidden Dangers

During the activity, HSE Department carefully planned and organized a "Snap & Report" activity for safety hazards. Since the start of the activity, more than 20 reports of hazards and violations have been received, effectively addressing and resolving issues difficult to detect in routine inspections, while also greatly enhancing employee participation and actively promoting the management concept that "everyone is a safety officer."

During the Safety Production Month, company leaders went to the front lines, strictly adhering to the requirements of "zero tolerance, strict implementation," and conducted several special inspections, effectively controlling the existence of accident risks and preventing accidents.

"Real" Practice for "Actual" Emergencies, Enhancing Emergency Response Capabilities

Emergency rescue is the last line of defense in safety production. To genuinely improve the level of emergency rescue response, HSE Department organized two training activities for the company's volunteer firefighters and full-time and part-time safety management personnel, achieving the goal of familiarizing with emergency procedures and proficient use of emergency equipment. On June 28th, an evacuation drill was conducted in the dormitory building of the living area. Through the drill, issues were promptly summarized, the emergency response mechanism was optimized, and the comprehensive capability of emergency collaborative operations was enhanced.

Although the activities of Safety Production Month have been successfully completed, safety production cannot be relaxed for a moment and is always ongoing. Next, ROC will continue to consolidate the achievements of the Safety Production Month activities, reinforce safety responsibilities, enhance the quality of all employees, comprehensively build a solid safety production defense line, and ensure the company's safety production situation remains stable and continuous.
