On July 25, 2022, at 16:18, Keel-laying ceremony of “Poly Changda 16000DWT Multi-Purpose Deck Barge Project” undertaken by ROC was successfully held. Representatives from Owner, Marine Board, CCS and ROC top leaders were at present.

“Poly Changda 16000DWT Multi-Purpose Deck Barge Project”is the third project that ROC cooperates with Poly Changda. The barge is not self-propelled. It’s 39.99m wide, 8.5m deep and 141.5m long. The barge consists of box hull, right Angle stern, bilge bevel, longitudinal frame, and single continuous deck steel welded structure. It’s equipped with 6-point mooring positioning system mainly used for the transportation of booster station upper blocks, platform modules, jackets, monopiles and other equipment.

The keel laying indicates that the construction of “Poly Changda 16000DWT Multi-Purpose Deck Barge” moves from the block stage to slipway stage, which is a milestone and provides a solid foundation for the delivery.
