Lately, the first two pieces of monopile constructed by ROC for SPIC Jieyang Shenquan No.2 350MW Offshore Wind Power Project were well delivered. One of the monopile is 107.7m long. The max. diameter reaches 10.3m, and the weight is up to 2,294t. In terms of diameter and weight, it’s the largest and heaviest monopile delivered by ROC till now. The other monopile is 106.75m long. The max. diameter is 9.8m, and the weight is 2,184t.    

For SPIC Jieyang Shenquan No.2 350MW Offshore Wind Power Project, ROC totally took charge of fabrication of 8 sets of monopile and cage with the total weight of over 19000t. Each monopile is over 2000t. Facing the new test, ROC project team constantly summarized experience, improved technology, scientifically formulated production plan, overcame various difficulties in the production process, and finally ensured the perfect delivery of the first batch of monopiles.

For this project, two ultra-large offshore wind power monopiles were delivered with a total loading weight of over 5,000 tons, which marked a new step for ROC’s manufacturing capacity and once again proved its strength in offshore wind power field. At present, manufacturing of the follow-up products of this project are progressing smoothly. ROC will continue to uphold the original aspiration, forge ahead, build with originality, and strive to complete the delivery of remaining products of this project with high quality and high standard. At the same time, ROC will continue to improve its comprehensive capacity and contribute more strength to the development of offshore wind power industry.
