“Offshore Wind O&M 801” Platform For Large Parts Replacement, Operation And Maintenance Completed Sea Trial And Returned


“Offshore Wind O&M 801” platform for large parts replacement, operation and maintenance elaborately constructed by ROC returned to its jetty on Jul 4, 2020 after successfully completed 120T crane load test, 600T crane load test, jacking up, lowering down, pile pulling and taking pile back .

Target sea area for the platform is the domestic coastal waters, Europe and Southeast Asia coastal waters.  The sea trial took 30 days. And the test showed that each performance was stable and met the design expectation, which gained consistent high praise from Owner and Class. Now, the platform is ready for delivery and is estimated to be delivered in the near future. 

“Offshore Wind O&M 801” is the third offshore wind power installation platform constructed in ROC after “Huadian 1001” and “Huadian Wenqiang”. Success of the sea trial represents that ROC’s equipment level and construction ability steps up to a new stage and lays a solid foundation for ROC to further expand offshore wind power installation platform market.
