Rainbow “Huadian 001”undertakes the maintenance duty for the 10 units in Donghai Bridge Wind Power Plant.

October 22^nd , “Huadian 1001” wind power installation platform which is new delivered from Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co.,Ltd has been launched to Shanghai Donghai Bridge wind power plant to begin the maintenance operation for 10 draught fans.It is reported that this is the 1^st large-scale operation of jack-up wind power installation platform in China.It will fully and systematically verify the performance and independent research & development standard ,it’ll also propel the innovation and development for offshore wind power industry in China.

Shanghai Donghai Bridge is the first trial project of offshore wind power plant  and it’s also the large-scale offshore wind power plant.The 1^st-stage period has been finished in 2010 Oct. which is arranged with 34 wind power generators with 3MW each,totally 102 MW.The 2^nd-stage period has been started since 2013 and it’s planned to install 27 wind power generators with 3.6MW each and 1 model generator with 5.0MW,after all of them are operated,there will be 200MW generating capacity and 500 million KW/h every year.It is reported that this wind power plant is located at 1 kilometer away from Donghai Bridge,it’s 8 kilometers away from land shoreline in the north and 13 kilometers away from land shoreline in the south,7 meters water depth in average.The geology and hydrologic condition in this sea area is complicated,the sludge on surface is as thick as 20 meters.Tide flow speed is 3m/s,and multiple project pipelines get through undersea, it brings a lot of difficulties for offshore operation.

In China,for example,Donghai Bridge wind power plant which basically used semi-submersible barge to carry wind power units and large-scale crane ship to pile and lift，it’s hard to control its safety and stability, efficiency is lower and cost is higher,it’s different from main trend technological method with jack-up installation operation platform.Jiangsu Heavy Industry Co.,ltd has been invested to construct Nantong Rainbow  Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co.,Ltd which has been invested a lot of good resources to focus on investing and constructing offshore wind power equipments. ROC’s first made “Huadian 1001” jack-up offshore wind power installation platform is provided with 140m overall length,89.9 molded length,6.6m molded depth,60m pile leg,35m maximum operation water depth(entered sludge depth).Core technologies of this platform are pile leg jacking system and crane system,they’re both designed and constructed by ROC,it breaks monopoly of some foreign enterprises,pile leg load of this platform is considered from the thicker sludge condition in China inshore sea area,it has been met requirements of “thrust,stand and pull out well”.And with “bigger,stronger and more excellent”characters,the 2^nd generation of offshore wind power installation platform has been come into the method perfection stage.

It is reported that generator set which is equipped in Donghai Bridge is 90m height of engine room,blade diameter is 92m,both of them are the highest and biggest ones of offshore wind power units in Chine. “Huadian 1001” will change blades & engine rooms for 3 draught fans,blades & gearboxes for another 3 draught fans and blades for other 4 draught fans.The whole project period will last 2 months.
