Two OSVs Launching in ROC within Two Days


One unit of 60.5m AHTS and one unit of PX121H built by Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co., Ltd respectively for Martens Marine and ITG successfully launched with the former on 10th and later on 11th of November 2014.

The deadweight of PX121H is 4000T and was designed by Ulstein Norway as high-end medium sized D-E drive platform supply vessel. Then length of the vessel is 83.4m, beam is 18m and cargo deck area is 840㎡. It is capable of carrying fuel oil, fresh water, ballast water, drill water and cement etc. With special X- Bow® design, it can dramatically reduce sea wave collision, keep stable speed and reduce noise level. This vessel is also satisfying DNV classification society requirement of DYNPOS-AUTR (DP-2) and “Clean Design” standard. It has big loading capacity, good voyage performance and is easy to be operated with green environmental protection character.

60.5m AHTS with 65T bollard pull 15.8mbeam and 6.5m depth is the improved version of KCM 58.7m AHTS design. It is equipped with CPP, bow and stern thruster, DP-2 system. The vessel is classed ABS, and satisfying the requirement of towing, positioning, anchoring and rescuing by offshore drilling platform. It is also capable to deliver goods and small quantity of persons to offshore platforms.
