ROC successfully shipped large steel pipe piles for offshore wind power project of the South U plant site of SPIC Shandong Peninsula

On July 2nd, ROC successfully shipped the first batch of three large offshore steel pipe wind power single piles for the offshore wind power project at South U site of Shandong Peninsula, which was built by Tianjin Port and Shipping Bureau and Yantai Salvage Bureau. The weight of the single piles shipped this time is 1200T-1400T, the diameter is 8.0m-8.6m, and the total length is nearly 100m.

This project is another large-scale offshore wind power single pile constructed by ROC,. The development trend of offshore wind power is gradually shifting from offshore to deep sea, posing great challenges to the production and transportation of foundation single piles. To ensure the smooth progress of the project, ROC Project Department carefully plans and scientifically formulates construction plans and loading plans. Multiple special meetings have been held to develop special construction plans on the difficulties and key points of the construction process. For the first time, ROC carried out the simultaneous shipment of three piles on the same ship in a tidal period, and adopted the scheme of taking the axle truck as the main part, so as to overcome many difficulties such as weather and tidal level during the loading process and finally ensure the smooth delivery of the project.

The smooth delivery of this project has helped ROC to explore the domestic and international super large single pile market, making ROC one of the few manufacturers with large tonnage single pile production in China. At the same time, it has also established a "full scale" confidence for its work in the second half of the year. Next, ROC will steadfastly focus on all work and spare no effort to run well in the "second half".
