ROC Attended "Offshore Wind China 2014”

From July 2 to 4, "Offshore Wind China 2014”was held in Shanghai. Wind power industry associations and pavilions from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, the United States and other developed countries, as well as world leading offshore wind power-related companies, including major machine manufacturers, construction and installation services, certification institutions, that provided a comprehensive showcase of the latest technology of offshore wind power, and exchanged their experience in offshore wind projects and operational philosophy.

In this exhibition, ROC exhibited the first domestic offshore wind turbine installation platform (“platform” for short) with independent research, design and manufacturing. The parameter of the platform: working depth of 4.3 to 33.7 m, leg length of 60 meters, the main crane of lifting 700 tons, lifting height 126 m, deck operations area 1600m2, variable load 1,500 tons, capacity of 40 people. In 2013, the platform successfully completed Donghai Bridge 3.6MW wind turbine maintenance & replacement and CGN Rudong 150MW offshore wind test piling project. It solved a number of technical problems such as turbine leaf assembly on deck, lifting the overall test pile platform, etc. The successful operations verify the platform’s efficiency, safety and reliability.
