Maritime Weapon! 3000T self-propelled full revolving crane vessel "Tianfeng 10" embarks on sea trial.

Recently, the 3000T self-propelled full revolving crane vessel "Tianfeng 10", built by the subsidiary ROC, slowly left the dock, starting a 15-day trial voyage plan.

The vessel is classified by CCS, with a total length of 149.8 meters, a beam of 41.5 meters, a depth of 14 meters, a designed draft of 10 meters, and a designed speed of 7.5 knots. It is a steel, self-propelled, single -deck structure, equipped with a 3000T full revolving crane. It is mainly used for lifting operations of offshore wind power monopile foundations, conductor racks, platform modules, booster station components, and large-scale offshore steel structures.

The 3000T full revolving marine crane of GENMA brand provided by RHM has a maximum crane weight of 3000T and a maximum lifting height of 110 meters. It is a 360°continuous full revolving crane. It has achieved a ratio of 1:1 between the crane’s self-weight and its maximum lifting capacity, filling the domestic gap and significantly narrowing the gap with international advanced levels.

This vessel has successfully overcome key technologies such as efficient and safe construction, anti-overturning automatic load adjustment, and precise positioning for deep-sea offshore wind power installations ranging from 10 to 16 megawatts. It solves the problem of existing offshore wind power installation platforms and crane ships not being able to meet the installation and maintenance needs of offshore wind power facilities above 10 megawatts and in deepwater areas. With its groundbreaking innovative technology, this project has been awarded the "Major Achievement Transformation Project" by Nantong City. The trial voyage team will complete tests such as main engine power testing and ship performance, laying a solid foundation for the final delivery of the project by the end of the year.
