ROC Super Large Pile Keeper Project Started Up Smoothly

Lately, the super large pile keeper project constructed for domestic Client started up smoothly in ROC.

The platform, with total weight of 1573T, is 57.1m high, 41m long and 28.4m wide and the draft is 30m.It’s mainly used to assist monopile installation for offshore wind farm projects. Equipped with an advanced hydraulic steering rectifying system, it can adjust monopile inclination in real time through control room when positioning monopile. The platform is also equipped with an advanced anti-adsorption washing system, which uses 4 sets of submersible pumps and nozzles to flush the mud at the bottom of the mud mat, break the adsorption force between mud mat and mud and reduce the mud accumulation, so as to relieve crane stress when lifting and greatly increase speed. The pile keeper will satisfy the offshore monopile construction under bad sea conditions in China, and meet requirements for piling of monopile with weight over 2200t and diameter of 10m under 30m water depth.

Considering the short construction period, heavy task and high requirements, ROC specially held project kick-off meeting to arrange and deploy production. Adhering to high starting point, high standards and strict requirements, ROC tries to optimize project construction process management, establish the image of daring to fight a tough battle, and hand over a satisfactory answer sheet to Client.
