On March 25, the last piece of monopile constructed by Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipments Co., Ltd (ROC in short) for Guangdong Yudean Zhuhaijin Bay 300MW Offshore Windpower Project successfully loaded out. It’s another time that ROC constructed such ultra-large offshore windpower monopiles. Totally, we’re in charge of 10 sets of monopiles for this project. The diameter is 8.4m, total length is near to 100m and unit weight is over 1300t.

        During construction, ROC actively coordinated various resources to ensure project progress in epidemic time, and used SPMT together with roll on and roll off device to transport monopile to the barge while encountering difficulties from weather and tide. Finally, the project was ended in Mar, 2020 and gained Owner’s  praise.

        Delivery of this project represents ROC’s spirit of overcoming difficulties, originality and perfect performance, which has laid a solid foundation for the company to develop super-large monopile at home and abroad.
